Dear friends,

Today is Giving Tuesday, and thanks to several generous supporters, every donation made will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $7,500.

That means:
Your $25 becomes $50.
Your $100 becomes $200.
Your $250 becomes $500.
Your $500 becomes $1000.

To mark this day, here’s a short reflection from one of our volunteers, Michel Pichette:

“CAFES helps residents stay informed and take action—from understanding local climate issues to planting trees in our neighbourhoods. Whether it’s learning through a workshop event like Climate Fresk, protecting greenspace, or understanding what’s coming to City Hall, CAFES gives our community a way to show up. That’s why I give.”

Your donation today supports the community-driven work that keeps climate action moving forward in Ottawa:

Community-led advocacy at City Hall
Delegations on trees, greenspace, zoning, climate resiliency, and waste
Tree planting, greenspace protection, and neighbourhood climate events
Public education on heat pumps, climate readiness, and local climate issues
Engagement and nonpartisan community outreach for the 2026 municipal election

Suggested gifts:
$25 • $50 • $100 • $250 • $500 • $1,000

DONATE

Your support today ensures CAFES can continue to show up — consistently, effectively, and collaboratively — in the places where decisions are made.

While CAFES isn’t a registered charity, Succession is a charity that has been very supportive of our work. Donations of $1,000 or more made to Succession can receive a charitable tax receipt (click link here). Please put "Green Resiliency" in the memo field when you donate.

Thank you for being part of this work.

With gratitude,
Angela, Emma, Erica and Mitzi - Your CAFES Team
