Calling all youth with a passion for nature and the environment!
The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) - Ottawa Valley Chapter (a new member of CAFES!) is introducing their Nature for Everyone, Everywhere! program for youth (ages 18-30 years old). Over the course of 12 months, participants will complete a conservation project on a topic of their choice. CPAWS provides support to the youth through workshops and one-on-one mentorship to ensure they successfully complete their projects. The program is bilingual, free of charge, and includes a weekend canoe expedition trip, which provides participants the opportunity to experience the outdoors and connect with nature.
By combining outdoor activities with experiential learning, CPAWS strives to provide youth with the inspiration and skills necessary to pursue an exciting career in conservation and other environmental fields. While the program remains open to all applicants aged 18-30 in the Ottawa Valley and the Pontiac region, the program prioritizes youth from underrepresented communities including newcomers to Canada as well as Indigenous youth.
The deadline for applications is March 31st, 2026. Get yours in now!
