Climate Misinformation: New Briefs!

CAFES wants to empower you to speak up in the face of climate misinformation - whether in everyday conversations with friends, family or coworkers, or in public dialogue with the municipality, our Climate Misinformation Volunteer Team has been working on a set of new briefs so you can address misinformation when you hear it.

Check out the Climate Misinformation project page, or visit each link below to explore the following new briefs that have recently been added:

Supporting You to Speak Up

Did you know that most Canadians are concerned about climate change, but only a few speak up? We want to help change that.

In addition to the backgrounders provided, which give you speaking notes to address misinformation, our Climate Misinformation Volunteer Team has also been working hard on developing new resources to support you in speaking up. Check out the resources below on how to talk about climate action, and creating your own personal plan for using your voice to take action.

When we choose to talk about climate action in our everyday lives and in municipal decision-making spaces, we are helping accelerate climate action in the City of Ottawa. Your voice matters!
