Did you know that CAFES network members can now connect with each other on our new Slack forum? If you're already a member and haven't joined, check your email for an invitation. If you're not a CAFES member but want to connect with like-minded Ottawa folks, consider signing up to be a member for access to our network communication platform Slack.

If you're not familiar with Slack, here are some tips and tricks for a smooth experience:

• Introduce yourself to the group in the "Introductions" channel
• Join channels that interest you to discuss specific topics (ie. climate misinformation, waste, invasive species)
• Try and stay on topic when posting on group channels. Feel free to direct message other members for one-on-one discussions.
• Reply to messages within a thread to keep channels neat and organized

If you're having trouble joining Slack, please email info@cafesottawa.ca.
